At Tinky Chihuahua Rescue, we believe every chihuahua deserves a loving, forever home. Chihuahuas are a very special breed that many don't understand. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to provide care, rehabilitation, and a second chance at happiness for these vulnerable little dogs in Simcoe County and beyond.

About Tinky Chihuahua Rescue
Tinky Chihuahua Rescue was founded with a simple yet powerful goal: to provide a safe haven and find loving homes for chihuahuas in need throughout Ontario. Our dedicated volunteers and foster families are the heart of our rescue, working tirelessly to give these small dogs a brighter future. The name Tinky comes from founder Kristen's "heart dog" a chihuahua named Tinky who she had an amazing 15 years with. He was introduced to Kristen after she finished intense cancer treatment when she was only 16 years old. He helped with healing through the trauma of having cancer at such a young age, his comfort and companionship will be forever remembered and cherished. Now she is dedicating a future to helping Tinky's breed be more understood and loved.
